RCC Sports Awards

GREAT NIGHT FOR THE TWO BLUES!!!
It was a privilege to be in attendance at the Randwick Council sporting excellence awards for the Coogee SLSC and Coogee Minnows, which was a fantastic night with the Two Blues represented in all but 1 category.
Large contingent of club members there to support our 7 finalist in Ethan Costa, Ashton Habler, Margaret & Kathryn Jordan, Bronte Bloxsom and Aislinn Walsh-Sams (Junior and Youth Athletes) and Chris Gately (Coach of the Year).
Huge congratulations to all our nominations and particularly both Ethan and Margaret who won in their relevant Junior Sports Awards.
Shout out also to Heather Hawkins, who was one of the 4 judges involved in this process, for her time putting her hand up for the role (especially considering she is only just back in country from climbing Cholo Peak).
It was a really enjoyable evening for all and credit to Mayor Dylan Parker & Randwick Council for holding these awards and their continual support of surf lifesaving.
