Coogee SLSC welcomes new members every season from a range of ages and backgrounds.

Joining Coogee Surf Club is a wonderful way to meet new friends, serve the local community, get fit, or join a surf sports team and have heaps of fun, while becoming part of Australia’s largest Surf Life Saving Club.

Those who join the Club will commence their training to gain their Bronze Medallion to become a qualified Surf Lifesaver, and then join a dedicated Patrol. Currently Coogee has 17 Patrols, which means that you will be required to Patrol for half a day each 4 weeks.

Be part of a great community of volunteer lifesavers. Register your interest for future Bronze Medallion courses by completing this enquiry form.

For all enquiries to become a member of Coogee SLSC please contact the club at [email protected]

Probationary - All New Members

A person may apply for membership, subject to them completing either Surf Rescue Certificate (13-15 years old) or Bronze Medallion (15+ years old). Once completed they will be required to patrol & will be allocated to a regular patrol team. Their membership category will change to the appropriate category, either Cadet, Junior Active or Senior Active and they will be subject to all the rules and regulations of the club. Probationary fees to be advised.
