The SLS Sydney Branch Championships were held on 24-25 February 2024 at Maroubra Beach. Competitors faced testing conditions across the Youth, Opens and Masters events. Coogee achieved outstanding success within all age groups with our Minnows once again setting the benchmark, placing 2nd in the overall point score. A strong Masters contingent competed, with many new faces, as well as experienced regulars. The Masters team finished a very impressive 3rd in the overall point score. Coogee also excelled in the Surfboat competition and RnR events. Congratulations to all Members who competed, we have listed our medallists below and look forward to cheering you on at the SLSNSW State Championships over the next couple of weekends.
On behalf of the Competition Team, thank you to the officials, water safety and IRB drivers / crew who volunteered to help over the weekend.
