Palm Beach Boat Carnival

The Palm Beach Boat Carnival on Saturday was a very good day for the Coogee Boat Teams! Five crews made the trip to Palmy, and all came away with a medal. ​

Both the U23 Female crew, Havachats, and the Open Female crew, DMG’s, steamed home in their finals to take Gold. The Reserve Female crew, Overwavers and Reserve Male crew, Sons were on the pace all day and right in the mix in their finals. A special mention to the U19 Female crew, Commandos who haven’t had the friendliest of conditions for their first 2 carnivals, but just keep stepping up to go again. 
Well done to all crews, and especially to Gemma and Tarni who filled in for the Opens.
RESULTS:

• U23 Female: Coogee Havachats: 1st 🥇
• Open Female: Coogee DMG’s: 1st 🥇
• Reserve Female: Coogee Overwavers: 2nd 🥈
• Reserve Male: Coogee Sons: 3rd 🥉
• U19 Female: Coogee Commandos: 3rd 🥉

Plenty of highlights today, but none better than Coogee placing 2nd in the overall point score. 💙🩵
