Beach Ocean Safety Course

Over the last three days, Coogee SLSC has been delivering our Beach Ocean Safety Course with International Students from UNSW & University of Sydney. 

The BOS Course if focused on delivering a range skills and knowledge to the students so they can be safe in the ocean and enjoy our wonderful beaches.

This can only happen with the support of our incredible club members who turn up and share their time, skills and smiles with the students.. A very big THANKYOU to John Macleay, Josh Hankin, Andreas Schilling, Bruce Cartwright, Caroline Windsor, Susan Banki, Marissa Saunders, Lynne Barry, Tanya Sarina, Paul Matteucci, and Martin Jucker. Thanks to the team from Spring Bronze 2025 - Haydon, Andy, Sarika, Alex, and our graduates from our March BOS who have just completed their Bronze Medallion - Michael and Samen. We also had great support from our Blueys team of Bela Nimrich, James Peate and Maria.

​The Nov BoS Course was a true reflection of what this Club does for the wider community, and seeing so many smiles over the last three days across the whole team was what it's all about - Thank You Coogee SLSC
