He is a custodian of its values, a mentor to its members, and a symbol of what lifelong service truly looks like. His contribution spans eras of change in surf lifesaving, yet his commitment has remained constant. He has recently been honoured with the SLSA 50 year National Patrol Service Award.

 We sadly report that our fun loving friend, Joseph, passed away on Saturday 19th September aged 90.
When a new Bronzie was heading into work, they didn't realise how their Bronze Medallion training would become second nature, but they are glad that it did. Read on to hear the first hand account.
 This season Coogee SLSC welcomed its “Partners in Sport” Coogee Board Riders Club (CBRC) to compete in the Annual Seddon Shield surfing competition. This strengthened numbers & ensured high performance levels across all divisions.
