Life member, John ’Sodgie’ Sorrell who now lives on the Gold Coast, paid us a visit last Sunday 22 September.
Knowing Sodge was paying us a visit George ‘Ugly’ Bevan was anxious to meet up with his old mate. Both are their 90’s they grew up together in the club some 75 years ago. Both strong competitors and hard working committee members, their get together prompted much reminiscing.
President Ben and VP Sharon joined in the gathering as did several of our older members.

The sparkles were all out on show on the last Saturday of winter, August 31, for the first ever Spring Soiree with Sparkles in the Ocean Room. Doors opened at 2pm and the weather was glorious, the ocean backdrop nothing short of dazzling.
